Listen It’s Linda

Linda in red evening gown

Our whole lives, women are told how to dress. By our parents. By the need to fit in with friends. By being a mom with a full schedule and kids who need things. By every role we play for everyone else. Then one day the kids are grown, you find yourself alone in your closet, and you realize you have no idea what your own style even is.

I am Linda Resendiz. California girl, wife, mom of 4, grandma of 5. I got on my own at 14. I became a licensed electrical contractor and co-built a multimillion-dollar company from literally nothing, counting change for gas and printing our own flyers. I have been a business owner, a caretaker, a partner, a mom and a grandma all at the same time for most of my adult life.

I am a size 8. I am 5’4”. I am midsize and I refuse to disappear. I started Listen It’s Linda at 50 to finally come out of my shell, build confidence, and make my own money on my own terms. Nobody having anything over my head.

I shop everywhere from Nordstrom and Zara to Amazon and Target. I will always tell you exactly where something is from and how it fits on a real body, so you can decide for yourself.

When I am not with my grandkids or creating content, I am dreaming about Europe. There is nothing like sitting at a little cafe in Italy or the South of France with a coffee, watching people walk by on the cobblestone streets, wearing exactly what I want. That is the life.
